The Nursing and Midwifery Services Directorate was established in 1998 with the primary focus of strategy development for the nursing and midwifery professions within the public sector. The Directorate is currently headed by Ms. Carmen D’Amato. She is assisted by two Chief Nursing Managers, one Chief Midwifery Manager, two Senior Nursing Managers, one Practice Nurse, three Charge Nurses, and an Assistant Principal Officer who assists in the administration and operations of the Directorate.
